Reminder: The reserved Senior Citizens parking spaces are for those seniors 70 years and older. Please do not park in those spaces unless absolutely necessary.
**SPECIAL NOTE: Last Bible Study for Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be June 10th and 11th. WE WILL STILL HAVE WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER SERVICE AT 6:30PM.
OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
** Daisy Griffin Scholarship Applications are due today. Please see Deaconess Pauline Williams, Deaconess Etta Johnson or Mrs. Marie Ingram.
**Baptism will be held Sunday morning June 15th, 2008.
**The Singles Ministry (BASSIC) will have a “Special Interest” call meeting 7:00pm Friday, June 13th in the Lee Robinson Building. Topic of discussion: Planning of 2009 Trip. Ages 21 & up are invited.
**Vacation Bible School will be held 6:30pm – 8:30pm beginning Monday, June 16th through Friday, June 20th. Pre-registration will be held after morning service today in the church vestibule. If you are interested in volunteering to help with VBS, please see Deaconess Pauline Williams.
**The Initiatives for Healing Phase II Grant Program is sponsoring a grant-writing workshop, to provide an overview of the grant writing process, on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 9:00am. Any one interested in the workshop should contact Jewel Wright (803-269-4004) or call the church office for additional information.
**Trinity Baptist Church – HIV/AIDS Care-Team Production “Silent Tears” will be presented Saturday, June 21, 2008 – 6:00pm at W.J. Keenan High School Auditorium 361 Pisgah Church Road – Columbia, SC.
Tickets will be available in the educational building following morning service. Tickets are also available in the Administrative office during the week until Friday, June 20th.
**Annual Youth Day Worship Service will be held Sunday, June 22nd. All Youth especially 2008 High School graduates are asked to give their academic information along with listing of all awards, honors, recognitions, etc. to Deaconess Esther Legette no later than Sunday, June 15th. High School and College Graduates are asked to wear your cap and gown on that day.
The Church Picnic will be at Weston Lake immediately after Morning Service on Sunday, June 22nd. (Dress Casually). Further details will be given, as the time gets nearer.
**Pastor Bowens will preach at Turkey Branch Baptist Church on Thursday, June 26th at 7:00pm. Rev. Clyde Holliday is Pastor. The Sanctuary choir will accompany Pastor Bowens.
The Annual Spring/Summer Clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, June 28th beginning at 8:30am. All members are asked to please come out and help us clean up God’s house of worship. We are requesting that
all ministry heads and leaders obtain labels from the Trustee’s office between June 2nd and June 23rd to tag all items and/or furnishings that should be retained prior to demolition of the Education Building in preparation for construction of the new TEC Center. IF IT IS NOT TAGGED IT WILL BE DISCARDED. Thanks for your cooperation.
**Reminder: Every 5th Sunday has been set aside as our “Friends & Family Day”. Families are asked to sit together along with invited friends. The next 5th Sunday is June 29th.
